condition smooth cross grain "Fafnir" (The Dragon from Wagner's Ring Cycle) shaped pipe, with a hand cut black and dark brown swirled acrylic stem, that was hand crafted in Bretagne, France, by world renown pipe maker, Mr. Trever Talbert. This gorgeous pipe is stamped "S4 99". The grain of the briar combined with the shape of this pipe wok in perfect harmony. This is an incredibly gorgeous pipe! (As it should be for a Signature graded pipe!)
The pipe's overall balance is perfect. The hand feel is comfortable. The draft is nice and easy. A pipe cleaner will effortlessly glide to the bottom of the bowl. The stem is cut nice and thin for comfort in the mouth and the inside of the stem (the draft hole) is polished for an effortless draw and minimization of condensation in the stem. This pipe possesses a first rate engineering to match its first rate looks!
Here are the pipe’s dimensions: The overall length is about 6.25�. The bowl height is 2.0�. The tobacco chamber is about 0.75� in diameter and tapers down the bowl’s 1.625� slightly angled inner depth. Capacity is about the same as a Group 4 size Dunhill pipe. The weight is 68 grams.
